A beautiful summertime celebration, with their closest family and friends joining them for a backyard BBQ, and a small and intimate wedding the following day.
Mia & Mark had a beautiful story - and it all started with Mia wanting to make some improvements to her home. She brought Mark - a custom painter - on board, and that brought them here.
They chose to celebrate a small and intimate wedding, and had me come to their ‘rehearsal dinner’ the night before - a perfect summer evening BBQ - to capture the warmth and joy shared with their family and friends. The wedding was a beautiful ceremony & dinner, with an informal reception, held at The Manitoba Club - one of my favourite local venues for exactly this type of wedding (and in my top 5 Winnipeg caterers!)

Sometimes celebrations like this are so tightly scheduled that you only get a few minutes for portraits - and I mean a FEW minutes! And while it may not have been what we had planned originally, sometimes that’s the way the schedule ends up playing out. You need those few minutes to count! And it’s the right photographer that makes all the difference - experience matters!
